Another game in the Mario Party Series, Mario Party 8 is basically the same thing as all the rest are except with Wii features. That said, it doesn't mean that you shouldn't get it because it is just a fun game to play. Unlocking characters, playing minigames and competing in board game style levels. You can also buy mini figures which depict some of the games best characters. Nothing musch is really left to write about this game except maybe mention a few of the minigames.All of these have different controls and are split into groups. 4-player, 2 vs. 2, 1 vs. 3, group and final( to name a few).
The 4-player catergory contains minigames designed for 4 people to play against each other. 2 vs. 2 is basically mingames designed for groups of 2. 1 vs. 3 is the most unfair one of all because 3 players have to try and beat or stop one player. Group contains mostly all the same games as 4 player and 2 vs. 2. The Final catergory is special because it is one player and only has one game in it but, that would be unfair to spoil the surprise for you. My favourite game so far is a building game. First you have to saw a log by holding the wii remote like a saw. You then have to hammer a nail in to a plank of wood. Finally you have to paint a sheet of wood. You are doing this and all the while your Miis are watching you.
Another Mario spin-off such as the Doctor Mario game.

Ever since the first Mario Kart game, people have been outstanded as the little plumber and co. race through tracks designed on some of the characters. Now that the Wii has had its own installment and the introduction of online play has been made, mario kart fans will be able to enjoy the experience much more. With almost twice the amount of tracks than normal, players will be playing this game for a very long time. Also, the total character list has increased and you can now play as 24 possible characters including everybodies favourite sidekick, Luigi, the bad guy, Bowser and a new character from Super Mario Galaxy, Rosalina. The game itself features many new options such as the option to download the mario kart channel,the possibility of playing as your mii and the option to drive motorbikes instead. Overall, I think this game is a must have for anybody with a wii and is suitable for people of any age range.

Of the few games that came out for Nintendo Wii and DS around the Olympic genre, Mario & Sonic at the olympic games had to be the best one of all. Maybe it was the fact that you could see two of the most common gaming mascots face off against each other. Or even the fact that you could also play as your Nintendo Mii's. It might possibly have something to do with the gameplay styles or just the big hype about it that influenced you to go out and buy it.
Although Mario & Sonic is a great game and has some of the best controls sometimes, there are parts about it that make it go downhill. For instance, as I have already mentioned, the controls. Yes they are great when it comes to fencing and archery, but they fall flat on their faces when it comes to sports such as running and singles( also known as table tennis).
Despite the above a great game for both the Wii and DS!

This game is possibly the best game I own. There are many reasons for this. One is because there are 73 songs to play. The second reason is because the game is just so addictive and there are many unlockables. There are also a lot of skill levels to play on and song to challenge you with such as Through the Fire and Flames by Dragonforce. Eventually you will master easy mode and continue onto medium and so on and so forth.
This game is one of the best to be released.

Do you remember Excite Bikes for the NES? If you do then this game is perfect for you, and if not then read on. The original excite bikes saw you trying to perform huge jumps and you found yourself actually trying to make the control motion sensitive. Well, the developers of excite truck and excite bikes have taken this into consideration when excite truck came out because now the controls are motion active. You have to hold the controller sideways, the same as in games such as sonic and the secret rings and super smash bros brawl, and using the 2 button to accelerate and the 1 button to brake, you will definetly find yourself swinging the wii remote this way and that to perform amazing stunts.
One of the things that make this game incredible is the vast numbers of environments seen as you race through just one course. Each little detail has been carefully constructed to make the driving reality feel that much more enjoyable and realistic.
If you like racing games such as Mario Kart Wii then this game is one of the best games you can buy for your gaming enjoyment.

Big Brain Academy for the Nintendo Wii is much the same as it is for the DS. You train your brain so that you can take a test that will determine your score. Your knowledge will slowly grow if you continue to frequently play this and take the tests. You can also unlock an extra medal mode if you can get a gold medal throughout the difficulties on one certain test.
A nice little game that will make you reations quicker and smarter.

Quantum of Solace is one of those games which is highly underated because of the film. Many people who watch the film are decidedly unimpressed for some reason or another but I think that the game is amazing because of the first person shooting style alongside 3rd person movement. The gun battles are engaging as you try to take cover from more than one enemy at a time. Also, the amount of weapons in the game is quite good because on each level there are secret weapons which will help you complete your mission, in the first level I found a shotgun which literally made completing the level that much easier. The levels themselves are great and have the most amazing detail.This game is fantastic and anybody who likes call of duty will love this game.
