This game is what split Zelda fans because of its cel-shaded graphics. Wind Waker sees you trying to fight off an eerie foe named Ganon who will stop at nothing to destroy the world. You will travel the world in search of items and to overcome dungeons which are element related. There is nothing really wrong with this game but, as I've said, this game has cel-shaded graphics.

Possibly the darkest Zelda story so far (apart from Majora's Mask) has you trying to save both the land of Hyrule and the Twilight Realm. The strory is like any other Zelda game, but this one is different because you can play as Link's wolf form where you can interact with animals and such. This has more complex puzzles to solve and many dungeons to explore and conquer, and, if you get bored with the story, you can either go fishing or have a go at some of the side quests. This game also has some of the best graphics I have seen in a long time. First being released on the Gamecube(and still priced quite high because of the rarity of the games) and then being one of the first games released on the Nintendo Wii.
There is nothing wrong with this game so I will just tell you about some of the unlockables and things to do over the course of the game. The first unlockable is the Zora Armor. If you are not familiar with the Zelda games then you will not know about the Zoras. They are a fish-like race that give you an armour which will allow you to breathe underwater. Another unlockable is the Magic Armour. I wouldn't recomend getting it unless you have caught 60 poe souls, because this armor runs on Rupees but it does give you an increased defense. There are many more unlockables such as all of the weapons you can acquire.
A hard and challenging game but still very fun to play.

The Legend of Zelda:Phantom Hourglass was one of those games which was highly awaited for. Many people were counting down the days until it came out after news about the game was released. The game takes place at what seems like just after the end of the Legend of Zelda:Wind Waker. It sees you trying to rescue one of the main characters from before as the opening scene shows them being sucked up into the darkness. I have no complaints about the game personally, as I find it quite enjoyable watching myself walk around with sword in hand in the same cel-shaded graphics that Wind Waker had. As well as that, I found the storyline quite gripping at times as you fought bosses and enemies in the same dungeon style routine that has been used for years, but I feel that there is something new about the whole experience. Finally, the number one thing that made playing the game a joy for me was the maturity. At times you will find that some of the cut scenes are quite tense but, within 10 minutes of playing the game I feel myself grinning as the characters try to figure out what to do next in the most comical manner.
I believe this game would be great for both kids and adults alike, 5/5

Wii sports is probably the first game you will play as it comes free with your Nintendo Wii. Wii sports has about 5 games and some fitness tests for you to try out. Here are the games you can play: Boxing, tennis, bowling, golf, baseball. Golf and bowling are special because you can gain experiance points from playing it on multiplayer. Boxing is also special because it requires the nunchuck to play it

Wii play is another great value game because it comes with a free wii remote. The games are quite fun although the ones at the start can be quite boring although they are worth the play through so that you can play the tank game and the cow running game. This game is much like wii sports because you can gain medals and it comes free with something. A great value game.

The Family Trainer for the wii is a more enjoyable version of wii fit, but it does take longer to get the same results. You get a pressure sensitive mat to play all of the games which help to increase your balance, your endurance and your general health. You can play all of the games by yourself or with a friend, but whatever way you play you still get the same results. One of the games requires you to run at a constant rate whilst jumping frequently to overcome obstacles and stay on a conveyor belt. Another game requires you to jump at the right time to dodge falling logs and other obstacles with the same purpose. Finally, I believe that this game would be perfect for anybody looking for wii fit but with a more family orientated view.

If your'e the kind of person that doesn't like games with compelling storylines or just a good old role-playing game, then this the game for you. In one word, minigames. This is what warioware is, just mingames. No one-on-one combat, but instead a five second 'game' where you have to slice fruit in half whilst it is being hurtled towards your face. Now think of that and imagine over 200 different minigames just as exciting, fun and just a little bit wierd. Also, if you get bored then you can play on any of the toys you get from completing a characters story (OK, so I lied). They are even more strange than the minigames themselves. One of which is a ping-pong games where one person prersses the 'L' button and another presses the 'R' button when it is the go to hit the ball. This may sound like just your kind of game but if your into more adventure, shooting, roleplaying and tacticalkind of games then go and pick up something like call of duty, otherwise, buy this game. One final word, if you have just bought a ds and want to see what it can really do, then I tempt you to buy this game.

The Simpsons Game was released just after the movie was released so that is why it was sold so well. That said, i still is an enjoyable game to play as you take control of every simpsons family member(except Grampa but that would be great). You explore most of the places you have seen on simpsons TV episodes. You also explore the video game world through levels such as Medal of Homer and Grand Theft Scratchy. If you don't like the Simpsons normally, this game will change your mind.
4/5 Also try Simpsons: Hit and Run if you like GTA style game.

In my opinion this game is one of the best releases on the Wii. Super Smash Bros Brawls sees you taking on the roles of many loved Nintendo characters and a couple of others. You start off with just a few, more noticeable names such as Mario and Link. There are many modes for you try out and in whatever one you pick you can unlock the rest of the characters. If you have played Super Smash Bros Melee then you will know about the classic which sees whatever character you choose playing through 13 or 14 single fight levels against some enemies which have the slight upper hand. New to the Super Smash Bros series is the adventure mode which is entitled Subspace Emissary mode. Unlike the classic mode, you don't fight single enemies on landscapes which are visible all over the screen. I wont tell you too much but the way the story unfolds is very clever especially if you have played through classic mode first. Another way to play Brawl is to play the training modes such as target test, multi-man brawl and homerun contest. What makes Brawl appealing is the fact that you can unlock trophies in a way which is much like that of the xbox 360 and PS3, and the way you can create your own stages and even post them online.
A great game for all ages 5/5

If you like pokemon you will love this game. It is basically a rip-off of pokemon which is probably much cheaper and much shorter. Unlike pokemon, there are only about 20 spectrobes to find in fossils and then evolve into much bigger versions of themselves using minerals to increase there strength, speed and something else. You can also find other, bigger spectrobes by completing certain challenges.
A good, pokemon like game. Have to get it.
